Pat & Patrick CostelloOld Time Banjo (2001)

Pat & Patrick Costello present the skills needed to learn frailing banjo (the same style Grandpa Jones played) in a series of lighthearted, easy to follow workshops that show you just how easy it really is to play a few tunes on the front porch.

Subject: Pat & Patrick Costello Banjo tuition
I have had a banjo for years and it has spent most of that time in storage with my guitar being the main instrument.
Looking at their books and video the guitar has now gone into storage and I am learning in leaps and bounds from their superb tuition and relaxed friendly style.
Well done and I would unreservedly recommend them to anyone taking up the banjo.

Subject: Great teachers, give great banjo!
EXCELLENT! I hardly know what more to say. I have seen other banjo tuition videos, but none of them inspired me, but the Costello boys have got it just right. I bought a banjo, watched the videos, and within 2 weeks of practicing 30 mins a day, could play 6 tunes and mastered 7 chords, all thanks to the teaching style and easy going manner, and positive reinforcement of Pat and Patrick! (and yes, my hands resemble catchers mitts too!)

Stick with these guys, you can't go wrong.
